My November Goals!

Source

Firstly, I'd like to say that this post is inspired by my wonderful fellow blogger, Amanda. She's 16 like me and has an amazing blog with a lovely style of writing. I just love reading what she has to say! So I'd really recommend that you go and check out a couple of her posts and give her a little follow on Bloglovin.

So...My November goals!!

I thought (with a little inspo from Amanda) that I'd share with you some goals that I've set myself for November, and that I really need the motivation to achieve! Maybe if I share them on here, then I'll be more likely to stick to them? That's my thinking anyway...

Number One: Eat Healthily
Easier said than done, right? Okay, but seriously, I need to. Anything's possible when you put your mind to it - well that's the mindset that I need to stick to anyway. I'm going try to only eat sweets at the weekend, limit day-time snacking, and ensure I take a piece of fruit to college every day.
*Notice the emphasis on the word try*

Number Two: Get Organised
I'm shockingly bad at organisation. Well, I very rarely miss deadlines, I'm just crazily stressed trying to meet them. Quite often I'll think 2 days is loads of time, and then remember that I'm going out on one day and then working the other, so that means I have to rush things (usually having a little cry on the sidelines) and then get things done to a very low standard. This is quite ironic that I'm sitting here at 8:00 blogging, when I have Psychology homework due in tomorrow, but starting from now, I'm going to get organised and hopefully it'll reduce stress levels too!
*Please Note: It's now half past eight, and I'm back to blogging, after having done my psychology homework. Are you proud of me?!*

Number Three: Blog More
Yes, I've said this before, but blogging is a great way to be creative, and since I'm no longer taking any essay-based subjects it allows me to (hopefully) continue improving my writing skills. Also, another big reason is that I really enjoy it! I know I haven't posted very much recently but if I succeed at goal number two then I'll have a lot more time to blog! The only thing is that a lot of the time, I'm lacking new ideas, so if you have any ideas that you'd like to see, please do let me know!

Number Four: Exercise Regularly
Okay, okay, it's a bit cliche, buutt, when I say that, I don't mean go running 6 times a week, swim on weekends and do 100 press ups every evening. Nah nah, that's not what I mean. I just want to try and go running more often. I can't remember if I've mentioned it the parkrun before but it's great. It's a 5K run every Saturday in so many places around the country - you can go as slowly as you're comfortable with and know that there will be others cheering you on from the sides, so it's such a great thing to go to if you want to keep fit. And here's the best part: It's completely free, and there's bound to be one within easy distance of where you live! I want to do this at least once a month, because I haven't run for ages and I should really get back into it!

Number Five: Have More Me Time
This one is important. There are so many deadlines to keep to nowadays and the reality of having time to ourselves is becoming less and less of a possibility. I know I'm definitely guilty of stressing out too much and not leaving enough time for me to just relax. It's so lovely to just light a candle, get in my cosy pyjamas and listen to some music, have a bath, read a book or watch a film. Obviously it's important to keep on top of things you need to do, but improving organisation will help to free up more time to do whatever you want and you'll be much happier for it!

So those are my five goals for November, and I promise that I'm going to try my best to stick to them, and I'll get back to you in December about whether or not I managed to succeed!
Have any of you set yourselves any goals? I'd love to hear about them! But remember the last one: make enough time for yourself to live and love life.

Love as always,
Georgia
